Thank you.
On behalf of the rescued bassets of BaRNi, I'd like to thank Larry Little of Guardian Angel Basset Rescue, as well as Gloria Carlson of Golden Gate Basset Rescue, for believing in BaRNi, and for knowing without a doubt, that we were above board and in need of assistance.  Both groups jumped to our assistance, and for that we will be eternally grateful. Other Ways You Can Help
The following items are needed on a regular basis.
Donations of these products will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

    Daily Needs

  • Vitamin C

    Equipment and Tools:
  • Large size metal pooper scoopers - these are needed immediately!
  • Gas powered generator to help with well water pumping if a power outage occurs!
  • Gas powered chain saw
  • Wheel barrow

  • gas powered chain saw
  • Nail clippers
  • Kuranda Beds - the hounds love the metal Kuranda bed. They are not cheap. We have the need for another 44 beds to be used for the hounds and to replace some of the 6 year old beds that have housed hundreds of hounds. This bed is without doubt, worth every penny of its cost.

    Hound Daily Comfort Needs
  • Blue Powder Ear Treatment: Rubbing Alcohol, Gentian Violet, Boric Acid
  • Shop rags (for cleaning hounds ears)
  • Twin sized comforters - Adds comfort to the elevated Kuranda Beds, as well as insulation during the winter.
  • Dog Beds (We like the Costco beds as the covers are removable, the price spreads your dollar further, and when the inside gets ruined we can easily refill them with human bed pillows.).
  • Human Bed Pillows & Plush dog toys - a good place to shop to spread your toy dollar further is to buy in bulk at www.Petedge.com or at www.dog.com

    Organizational Needs:
  • Stamps - our mailing uses 1000 stamps for a newsletter mailing (10 rolls), and monthly misc. mailing requires approx. 1 roll a month.

  • Manilla files (Hound Files)

When a hound gets adopted we ensure they leave the ranch with a full grooming, bath, ear cleaning and nails, we also send home a new toy scented with their caretakers scent for comfort their first few nights in a home, 3 days worth of food to transition on, a new collar, leash and the organizations tag. You can help adoptive families and the hounds by donation of the following items:
