How did you learn of Basset Hound Rescue?


All of the information provided is true & complete to the best of my knowledge. I understand that a donation is requested with the adoption of a Basset Hound (payable to Basset Rescue Network) to help cover a portion of the costs of rescue, neutering/spay, vaccination, and to help ensure the continuation of Basset Hound Rescue. Suggested Adoption Donation(s) are as follow:

Puppy -1 years of age: $400.00 Donation to BRN + ($100.00 S/N Deposit under 6 months)
1 - 2 years of age: $300.00 Donation to BRN
3 - 5 years of age: $200.00 Donation to BRN
6 years and over: $150.00 Donation to BRN
Basset mixes (Under 3 years) $250.00 Donation to BRN Basset mixes (over 4 years) $150.00 Donation to BRN

These donations cover only a small portion of our costs in relation to rescuing a hound. Our current costs on rescue per hound vary depending on necessary testing, vaccinations, spay & neuter, vet care, shots, feeding, grooming and caring for our hounds until they find their families. The average vet care cost per hound is currently: $500.00. I understand an adjustment period is to be expected, I understand if the adoption doesn’t work out for any reason, I do hereby agree to return the dog to Basset Rescue Network. If fostering a basset, I do hereby agree to allow BRN representatives complete access to the hound in my care, make myself available to show the hound to potential adoptive families. I have the first right of adoption on the hound in my care, and should I decide to adopt the hound, I shall notify BRN of that decision so as to avoid any confusion about the Bassets availability.
